For employers, sponsors, colleges and training providers

Retire the paper logbook

Peeristics Workforce provides a shared record for work-based learning. Apprentices log jobsite hours, mentors sign off on their skill level, and the employer, the college and the regulator all read the same live file — so compliance reporting and funding claims assemble themselves instead of being rebuilt at quarter-end.

What we solve for

The logbook is paper.

Hours get written on a page in a truck, keyed in weeks later, and argued over at completion. Everyone in the chain knows the number is soft.

A grade answers the wrong question.

Passing a course says a course was passed. It doesn't say a journeyworker stood there and watched someone do the thing to standard. Competency and assessment are not the same record, and most systems only keep one.

Nobody holds the whole file.

The employer has the hours. The college has the instruction. The regulator has the standard. The apprentice has a binder. When any two of them need to agree, someone builds a spreadsheet.

Standards compliance and content effectiveness show up in one real-time view
I build and share course material with other educators

Break lessons into small, reusable pieces and keep your files wherever they already live
I'm an employer launching a registered apprenticeship
Workforce
Program templates, apprentice onboarding, and cohort progress from day one
I sponsor apprentices and sign off their hours

A digital logbook replaces the paper one that gets lost or delayed
I administer funding and need claims tied to real progress

Claims build from verified data instead of quarter-end spreadsheets
I'm a college running instruction and work placements

Prove the training works, then certify the people who completed it

Why Peeristics?

  • Data residency

Built and supported in your jurisdiction with your residency requirements.

  • Setup and launch

Your framework, your trades, your standards, set up through configuration rather than a development cycle.

  • Works with what you already use

Connects to the learning platforms and file databases you already run rather than replacing them.

  • Role-based governance.

The employer, the mentor, the provider, the regulator and the apprentice each see their own view of one record.

  • Reports on demand

Real-time analytics and exports built for audits, board meetings, and funding claims.

  • Long-term infrastructure

Shore consulting, our parent company, has been serving the Canadian public sector for over 20 years. Peeristics was established in 2009, and since then has been refined and implemented.

We build the classroom side, which is why the handoff works

Peeristics Curriculum is the classroom and jurisdictional platform: modular curriculum, tracked to the paragraph, with causal attribution showing which material actually moved outcomes. It matters here for one reason — a competency proven in the classroom maps straight onto a skill the apprenticeship has to evidence. No re-entry, no second spreadsheet, no gap between the training and the record of it.

If your programs are classroom-first — a ministry, a school board, a college running instruction — start there instead.
